Jar of Joy
R60Jar of Joy is one of our charity drives – SPREAD THE JOY! The concept of the project was started by a spray-painting /motor workshop in the Barberton area – the details of which are now gone from our archives (bless their souls). However, the idea was really noble and brilliant, and we decided to do similar when things started really getting tough for people on the ground after Covid. . The price is truly not a moneymaker, and if you’d like the idea we would gladly part with the know how and costing (which is just over R30 with ingredients only). Sourcing the content, the bottles (a recycling effort) and assembling it into these beautiful layers takes up the rest of the charge. . Please support this initiative and help us to SPREAD THE JOY!. Our staff go home with a bottle every time, gifting it to a family back in the township whom they consider to be in need of something wholesome to eat. It feeds 4-6 people comfortably, making it R8 per portion average.
